Youth

Our HPCC youth program goals are to reach young people and to connect them with God, to build their Christian faith, and to serve the world and community around them.

We have four youth groups that meet every Wed. September through April from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Our classrooms are located on the lower level. Please enter by the covered doors.

PYF (Primary Youth Fellowship)

This fellowship group is for our Kindergarten to 2nd grades.  This year PYF will be on a journey through the Bible complete with lively lessons, crafts, and games.  Each year our PYF students are encouraged to participate in our annual Christmas Pagent. PYF meets in Room 17.

JYF (Junior Youth Fellowship)

JYF is a fellowship group for grades 3-5.  The Students will be learning the Old and New Testaments by following the Bible on a 52 week journey.  Some of their favorite activities include; holiday parties, field trips, games, and participation in our annual Christmas pagent.  JYF will also be focusing on serving the church and community with a variety of outreach projects.  JYF meets in Room 16.

Chi-Rho

Chi-Rho is a fellowship group for our 6-8 graders.  This year Chi=Rho will be involved with a wide variety of outreach programs. They also have many lively discussions regrading their faith an how it relates to their everyday lives.  Chi-Rho also has an active involvement with our Christmas Pageant. They also have holiday parties, field trips and games.  Chi-Rho meets in Rooms 4 and 5.

CYF (Christian Youth Fellowship)

CYF is a group for grades 9-12.  Our high school program focuses on three main areas; discussion of faith issues with relation to teen concerns, outreach projects such as working with disabled veterans, serving the homeless, and a wide variety of social activities. Mystery trips, bowling, progressive dinners, movie nights, and holiday parties are some of their favorites. Each year our CYF become very involved in all aspects of our Christmas Pageant. The most important event of the evening is our time which is spent in devotions and prayer.  CYF meets in Room 1.
