Our monthly worship celebration dates are listed below. The displays in the fellowship hall may be seen throughout the month.
January 26 Our first years, 1893-1927. A readers theater depicts the events that formed our first church. Display of photographs, memorabilia, and minutes of 1910 board meetings.
February 23 The past and future of our building ------------ Drawings of future building addition
March 16 & 23 1927-1960, Rev. Knights years,' missionaries w/Mary Ellen LaRue, old HP movies. Recognition of 50+ year members and Millie Lamb's 90th birthday. Display of photos and memorabilia.
April 13 Palm Sunday excerpt from 1940's Easter Pageant. Display of drama costumes from the 20s.
May 4 Weddings through the years Wedding gown display, and an opportunity for everyone to share their wedding photos and renew their wedding vows.
June 8 1961-1974,Rev. Gill's years. The church's move from Clinton to Aurora and interpretive dance. Display of photos and memorabillia.
July 13 1974-1996, Rev. Robertson's years. Community involvement, refugees, videos of 1980's activities. Display of photos and memorabillia.
August 24 Our Timothies and former pastors visit and share our celebrations.
September 7 1998 to the present: Dr. Holcombe's years. Ground breaking for west wing, Old fashioned picnic in the park, concert, games. Hymn sings, special choir performance.
October 12 Dorcas and Blanket Sunday's history. Display of quilts.
November 9 Current and historical outreach. Display of outreach projects.
December 7 A birthday party to celebrate our first meeting which occurred on Dec. 17, 1893.
